These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Servelp application and related services (the “Service”).
By creating an account or using Servelp, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. About Servelp
Servelp is a technology platform that enables users to connect with nearby individuals and communities to share services, opportunities, events, and interactions.
Servelp:
- Is not a service provider
- Does not employ service providers
- Does not supervise, control, or guarantee services offered by users
All services and interactions occur directly between users.
2. Eligibility
You must:
- Be at least 13 years old
- Provide accurate account information
- Comply with applicable laws of India
Servelp may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these requirements.
3. Nature of the Platform
Servelp acts solely as an intermediary technology platform similar to a marketplace or community network.
Servelp does not guarantee:
- Quality, legality, or safety of services
- Accuracy of listings or reviews
- Identity or authenticity of users
- Successful completion of any arrangement
Users interact entirely at their own risk.
Intermediary Status
Servelp functions as an intermediary platform under applicable Indian law. Servelp does not initiate transmissions, select recipients of user content, or modify information provided by users, except where necessary for technical processing, platform functionality, or enforcement of platform policies and legal obligations.
4. User Responsibility and Offline Interactions
Users are solely responsible for:
- Verifying identity, qualifications, and credibility of others
- Exercising personal judgment and safety precautions
- Any offline meetings or transactions
Servelp is not responsible for disputes, losses, injuries, damages, or outcomes arising from user interactions.
5. Accounts and Termination
Servelp may, at its sole discretion:
- Suspend or terminate accounts
- Remove content
- Restrict access
This may occur without prior notice, particularly in cases of suspected misuse or policy violations.
6. User Content
Users retain ownership of content they upload, including posts, listings, images, and messages.
By submitting content, you grant Servelp a:
worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable license to use, display, reproduce, modify, distribute, and promote such content for operating and improving the Service.
You represent that you have the right to upload such content.
7. Prohibited Conduct
Users must not post or engage in:
- Illegal activities or services
- Fraudulent or misleading listings
- Harassment or abusive behavior
- Sale of regulated or unlawful goods
- Adult or exploitative services
- Child exploitation or abusive material
- Content violating applicable laws
Users may report violations through in-app reporting tools.
Servelp will review reports within a reasonable timeframe but does not guarantee specific response times.
8. Moderation System
Servelp may provide moderation tools operated by:
- Platform administrators
- Community moderators
Community moderators:
- Are independent volunteers
- Are not employees, representatives, or agents of Servelp
- Act within community governance structures
Moderation actions, including content removal or community decisions, may involve community voting mechanisms.
Servelp does not guarantee moderation outcomes or continuous monitoring.
9. Content Reporting and Enforcement
Users may report content or accounts believed to violate these Terms.
Servelp reserves the right, but not the obligation, to:
- Remove or restrict content
- Suspend users
- Take enforcement actions when deemed necessary
Content removal may occur through soft deletion for audit and safety purposes.
10. Future Features and Monetization
Servelp may introduce in the future:
- Paid features or subscriptions
- Platform commissions
- Advertisements or sponsored content
- Promotional communications via email, SMS, or notifications
Continued use of the Service after such updates constitutes acceptance of changes.
11. Service Availability
Servelp may:
- Modify features at any time
- Temporarily suspend or discontinue the Service
- Perform maintenance without prior notice
We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.
12. Verification Disclaimer
Servelp does not guarantee that users are verified or authentic.
Profiles, ratings, and reviews may be inaccurate, biased, or misleading. Users must independently evaluate trustworthiness.
13. Intellectual Property
All rights related to the Servelp platform, including:
- Software
- Design
- Branding
- Logos
- Features and functionality
remain the exclusive property of Servelp and its owner.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted under Indian law:
Servelp shall not be liable for:
- User conduct or content
- Offline interactions or services
- Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- Loss of profits, data, or opportunities
- Disputes between users
Use of the Service is at your own risk.
15. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Servelp and its owner from claims, damages, or liabilities arising from:
- Your use of the Service
- Your content
- Your interactions with other users
- Violation of these Terms or applicable laws.
16. Legal Compliance and Disclosure
Servelp may disclose user information when required by law, regulation, or lawful government request.
17. Changes to Terms
Servelp may update these Terms periodically.
Updated Terms become effective upon publication. Continued use of the Service indicates acceptance.
18. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of India.
Any disputes shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in:
Bhubaneswar, Odisha, India.
