If you wish to delete your Servelp account and associated personal data, you may do so using the method described below.
1. How to Request Account Deletion
You can request the deletion of your Servelp account and data in two ways:
- Through the App: Delete your account directly from within the application through the account settings.
- Via Email: If you do not have the app installed, you can send an email to support@servelp.in with the subject "Account Deletion Request". Please ensure you send the email from the address associated with your account.
Once a deletion request is submitted and processed:
- Access to the account is immediately revoked.
- The account becomes inactive and is no longer accessible.
- The user profile will no longer be visible within Servelp.
2. Managing Your Data Without Deleting Your Account
If you wish to delete specific content you have created without deleting your entire account, you can do so directly within the Servelp app:
- Posts & Comments: Navigate to your post or comment, tap the options menu, and select "Delete".
- Community Plots: Authors can delete their events or polls from the item's detail page via the options menu.
- Stints: You can remove your service listings from your profile or the stint detail page.
- Saved Items & Bookings: You can unsave items or remove records of past bookings from your profile.
Once deleted, this content is immediately removed from public view and internal records, subject to our standard data retention policies.
3. What Happens to Your Data
After account deletion:
- Personal identifiers such as your name, profile details, and authentication information are removed or anonymized.
- Your account will no longer be linked to content within the platform.
- Content you previously created (including listings, posts, comments, reviews, or other interactions) may remain visible to maintain community continuity, but it will no longer be associated with your identity.
4. Data Retention for Safety and Compliance
Servelp may retain limited internal records that are not publicly visible where necessary for purposes such as:
- platform safety and fraud prevention,
- moderation and audit integrity,
- dispute resolution,
- compliance with applicable legal obligations.
Such retained data is securely stored and maintained only for as long as reasonably required for these purposes.
